Student Fellows Program

The ASPiRE Student Fellows Program provides outstanding ASPiRE students the opportunity to reside in the West Grace South residence hall for a third year and to fill student leadership roles within the ASPiRE Program.

During their year of service in the role, fellows agree to:

  • attend required ASPiRE Student Fellow specific events, including but not limited to Fellows Orientation, Fellows workshops (one per month) and Fellow group meetings (one per month);
  • assist with ASPiRE Orientation, ASPiRE Graduation and other large-scale ASPiRE events and activities;
  • participate in and take on leadership roles with co-curricular events. (e.g., serving in the role of event manager for co-curricular activities or serving on ASPiRE committees);
  • serve as a resource for current ASPiRE students; and
  • meet with a faculty, staff or community mentor throughout the year.

Second-year ASPiRE students who wish to be selected as ASPiRE Fellows must complete an online application during the first few weeks of the spring semester and be interviewed by a selection committee. It is expected that between eight and 12 student fellows will be selected each year. Fellowships are nine-month appointments (Aug-May).
