Nannette Bailey serves as the community partnerships coordinator for ASPiRE, which is a living-learning program within the Division of Community Engagement. She has more than 20 years of project management experience in the public health and community development fields. Her position places her on the front line in connecting ASPiRE students with community partners in addressing local challenges. Her responsibilities include building and maintaining an effective organizational structure that provides support to community partners.
Prior to her current position, Bailey served as the program administrator for the VCU Center on Health Disparities. Additionally, she worked as a senior training coordinator at the Harvard School of Public Health. She is also the former executive director of the Carver Promise, a nonprofit mentoring program in Richmond, Va. Bailey is an active board member of the Virginia Mentoring Partnership and the East District Family Resource Center.
